Beauty lies in simplicity’.

Kyoobik is the result of a union between simplicity, aesthetic obsession, the pleasure of observing and nostalgia for all that is old.

We decided to create the Kyoobik spinoff based on a simple formula: to work closely, by hand and with the soul; to work with wood by hand and create objects by focusing on the parts of things that are not seen, but felt. We have always loved the simplicity and beauty of all things natural, so there was no need for ecology to become fashionable for the Kyoobik project to see the light of day.

We observe people, nature and their interaction. The result is dual-purpose elements. We salvage them and redesign them. Where some people see an old hammer handle, a worn axe or a log, we see the legs of a new stool, table or chair. The aim is to find a balance between the past, the present and all that is natural by having our own identity and managing to integrate it into society.

Appreciating the knowledge, experience and work of everything we can learn from is important to this project. It's the importance of the fusion between design and the intrinsic wisdom of all that is natural and traditional, and we've learned to listen to our instincts, without being afraid to create unique moments.
